To measure a double tuck box, use the standard packaging order:
Box Size Format
Length (L) × Width (W) × Height (H)
(also written as L × W × D)
⸻
Step-by-Step Measuring Guide
1️⃣ Measure the product first
Measure your product exactly:
• Length (L) → front face width
• Width (W) → side depth
• Height (H) → top to bottom
📌 Always measure inside space needed, not the outer box.
⸻
2️⃣ Box measurements (INSIDE size)
For a double tuck box, measurements are taken inside the box:
• L (Length) = Front panel width
• W (Width / Depth) = Side panel width
• H (Height) = Box height
Example:
Product size: 120 × 40 × 150 mm
Recommended box (inside):
➡ 122 × 42 × 152 mm (add 2 mm clearance)
⸻
3️⃣ Allowance (VERY important)
Add space so the product fits easily:
• Tight products: +1–2 mm
• Loose items / wrapped items: +3–5 mm
• Cosmetic bottles / skincare: +2–3 mm
